STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE KEBAB
DeAnna’s Fried Banana Pudding stand is where you’ll have to go for some strawberry shortcake kebabs.
What are these kebabs? They’re sticks of mini doughnuts topped with fresh strawberry, icing, fresh lemon zest, whipped cream, and lemon-infused honey. And you can dip it in chocolate, too.
Oreo Cookie Cinnamon Bun
The Cinnamon Bun Saloon is at the Florida State Fairgrounds, and they came to play! Headlining at their coffee and bakery bar is the Oreo cinnamon buns. It uniquely combines the flavors of an Oreo cookie with a cinnamon bun.
But that’s not all you’ll find at this shop. They’re also selling apple, berry, and cherry turnovers. And on their FB page, we some some signage for strawberry shortcake. There are just too many options!
Banana Cream Pie Nachos
Rosie’s Nachos (aka Casey’s Concessions) knows its sweets, and they’ve put together this fruity sweet nacho bowl for the 2024 Florida State Fair.
Why nachos? We think it’s because they’re already known for their ribbon potatoes and gourmet nachos! These sweet nachos are flour tortilla chips topped with banana pudding, whipped cream, graham cracker crumbs, and fresh bananas.
Funnel Cakes, too
I know you came to this page just to see the top carnival snack: the funnel cakes. Don’t be embarrassed: I’m going to the fair just to sample the authentic carnie funnel cakes. They’re just too darn special to be tucked alongside all these other fair foods, so you’re going to have to go to another page to check out the unique and crazy funnel cakes the concessions vendors are featuring this year.
