Hi! Did it seem to you like your life changed in a cataclysmic way the moment you turned 40? It sure felt that way for me. On one hand, I was calmer and less absorbed with minutia, but on the other hand my body felt off and nothing felt right.

Something was missing. I bought a fixer-upper house. I adopted two goats and a whole lotta chickens. I went to esthetician skin school and nail school. I started selling books on eBay. I bought a Cricut. I also started spending a lot of time on cruise ships.

Call it depression or a midlife crisis, I dunno. Even a few years later, I’m still in a bit of a funk, but I’m try to work my way out of it so I can enjoy this next chapter. This website and my YouTube channel are my yellow brick road, and I’d love for you to join me on this adventure!

Some things you might want to know my life philosophies, since we’re going on this journey of personal discovery and enrichment! Movies are my jam, along with art and nature. Kratom chills you out and brings down the ADHD and maybe-bipolar crazies. Everyone should know some or all of Michael Weston’s super spy tips. We should all drink more water. Mushrooms are mostly our friends, but some are foes. Don’t lie, cheat, or steal unless you absolutely must, and even then there’s probably a way to survive without doing either. Try your hardest all the time, but know that you can only do what you can do when you’re doing it. And watch as many sunsets as you can — each one is spectacular in its own way.
