Most weekends, we go to breakfast at our favorite diner, a good few miles away from any major town or city. Each weekend, I notice new things on the street. A clothed mannequin someone put up on their driveway, a Brazilian religious group’s local location, and this past weekend, a walking trail to a creek.

There’s so much we don’t notice, with our eyes glued to our phones, fingers death scrolling to nothing. I’m so happy we stopped a moment, stretched our legs, and saw some nature.

Or as the kids say, we touched grass. Literally. 🙂
