Looking Inside: The Comforts of Home
My in-laws emptied out a house the other day and brought home a carload of books. This book, The Comforts of Home by Caroline Clifton-Mogg, caught my eye — probably because of the pink couch on the cover!
I’m not going to keep this book; it’s going to be donated to my local Friends of the Library group for its next book sale. But before it went in the donation pile, I snapped a few pics of home scenes that I hope to replicate once my house is cleaned out and ‘minimalized.’
The homes in the photos are lightly designed and very country chic (farmhouse chic). I find this look funny; wealthy people trying to make peasant life chic.
I definitely will be putting up curtains around my kitchen cabinets.
